General settings — troubleshooting
Common issues across General Settings modules for tenants.
Organization or group context
Symptom: Empty lists, redirects, or Access denied.
What to do: Switch to the correct organization and group in the header (see Groups). Retry the operation.
Missing buttons or row actions
Symptom: No Add, Edit, Delete, or New Route Fence.
What to do: Compare your role to the codes in Access and permissions. Ask an administrator to update Roles & Permission (Roles & Permission).
Geofence map save failures
Symptom: Error about drawing a geofence first.
What to do: Complete a circle or polygon on the map, ensure Status is set, then save. See Geofence.
Address location required
Symptom: Form rejects submit with a location error.
What to do: Open the map picker, select a point, confirm, then submit. See Address setting.
Route fence: demo routes vs saved corridors
Symptom: Confusion about accuracy of Generate Route paths.
What to do: Read Route fence. The generation step is demo geometry; persistence and operational meaning come from saved corridors and addresses via the API.
Preview modules (map, webhooks, API keys, flows, approvals, AI)
Symptom: Data disappears on refresh, or teammates do not see the same records.
What to do: These modules use mock or local state in the current console. Do not treat them as production configuration. Use the dedicated page for each under General settings index.

Collect the URL, screenshot or message text, and your organization context, then contact your administrator with the template in Permissions.
