Notification preferences
Enable notification types and manage which users receive them, from the profile menu.
Notification preferences control whether each notification type is on or off for the organization and which recipients receive it. The screen is available from your profile menu (not the main sidebar).
If you cannot toggle preferences or manage recipients, contact your organization administrator.
Open notification preferences
- Select your profile control in the top bar.
- Choose the option that navigates to notification preferences (the app opens Configurations with the Notification Preferences tab active).
The page shows a list of notification types by name.
Enable or disable a type
Each row has a switch showing Enabled or Disabled.
- Turn the switch on to allow that notification type to fire according to your organization’s rules.
- Turn it off to stop that type.
If the switch is not interactive for you, your role is likely read-only—ask your organization administrator.
Recipients
Expand a notification type to see Recipients.
- When the type is enabled, you can maintain who receives it (subject to your permissions).
- Use Add Recipient to search organization users by name or email, select a person, then Confirm.
- Remove a recipient with the trash action on their chip when permitted.
Disabled types may grey out recipient controls until you enable them again.
Troubleshooting
- No notification types listed: The deployment may not expose types yet, or loading failed—refresh and contact your administrator.
- Cannot add a user: The account may be outside your scope or already listed; confirm with an administrator.
- Toggle reverts: A save error occurred; retry and escalate if it continues.
